FYI - Also there is the Fryette Power Load that has the same functionalities of the Suhr RL but adds also the possibility to use an analog cab simulator that could be useful if you don't want to turn on your PC/DAW to listen to your cranked amp or to save some CPU while tracking guitars

Hi all! I happend to have both the Suhr Reactive Load and the newest Fryette Power Load at home so I did some QUICK recordings. Playing is really awful and was just meant for me to listen to their differences in recording (please don't judge the playing... :aww: ). Recorded a DI track and...
What brands/type of tubes I am able to put into my DS40 without doing any mods? I want to experiment some different brands/type without the need to bring the head to my tech (I can adjust the bias by myself)..
Any idea?? suggestions??
PS: I'm talking about power tubes
I have the 222 switcher and can't say a single bad thing about it....it's smart, sounds good (or I should say it's transparent), functions flawlessly and I's one of a kind! no switcher out there matches its functionalities...the shared fx loop chain for post preamp fx is just priceless.
maybe!! that's why I suggested the synergy also!
Or maybe the synergy power amp is the proof that the LXII will be out soon? who knows!
In any case either one should be fine! Fryette quality and sound are undeniable!
check out the new synergy power amp: http://www.synergyamps.com/index.php/hardware/syn5050
Is designed by fryette and should be one hell of a versatile power amp!
or the upcoming LXII by fryette
I have a Suhr RL and the Fryette PL will be at my home mid october (I live in Italy). I am corious as well and will try to post my thoughts as soon as I will try it.
