You can just switch between presets and it doesn't seem to care what's in the presets (clean or dirty), but there's a drop out for a moment as you switch, and it seems quick from capture to capture but is noticeably longer going from a capture to the JP2C model (as just an example). There may...

So fwiw after a few hours with the QC it's pretty damn awesome. Having made some profiles, to me the profiling is much more accurate than the Kemper and while some of the models seem to suck (Rectifiers) some of them seem pretty damn good (JP2C channels). I'm not a heavy FX user so I can't...

That would be even weirder than some of the stuff Kemper does but we'll find out haha.

I'm hoping for something that can just run profiles/captures of my amps but in a smaller box that I can switch between the profiles and add minimal delay/reverb. The Kemper sounds good but has some head scratching behaviors; curious what the QC will do.

I can't help with the refund issue but I have a Kemper and should receive a QC tomorrow and can let you know what I think. I've had the AFXIII but that was a few years ago.

I have some guitars with Seth Lovers (unpotted) and they only seem to squeal if I'm right next to the amp. As long as you can stand away from several feet, it's not been an issue.

If you don't mind me adding a clip; I was messing around recoding a Kemper profile of my Marshall 2204 I'd made. Tokai LPC with their PAF type pickups. Boosted with a CAE Line Driver into an OD808.

I dunno. It just sounds right. It has a voice to me. Higher gain amps sort of almost sound just like a wall of static or white noise that changes pitch with the note.

not sure how representative I am, but I've owned OG C+ DRG, an 80s SLO, several VH4s including an OG blue face, all the Recto versions except D, Bogner mods, etc. My fav amp of all time easily is a Marshall 2204.

How many other amps might have oscillation out of our hearing range? Maybe the OG C+ does too? We have no idea because we can't hear it. Not sure I'd worry about this.

Ibanez Rules probably has the most comprehensive Floyd guide. My best tip is to pull a spring and shove a stack of index cards behind the block to fix it level while tuning up and shimming the saddles.
