    My recent Kiesel experience

I've done it before and it worked perfectly.

When you change strings you could put a small piece of shrink tube over string behind nut. After tuning up you can position shrink tube a bit behind nut and heat it up to shrink it. Will solve your problem, I do believe.

Engl Construction Quality Inconsistent Among Various Models?

Only thing I would worry about is I've read about guys having trouble finding a tech willing or competent to work on Engl amps. Of course, this is just info I read on internet so it may be bogus.

    ESP Takamiy...thoughts?

Change hardware to chrome and add a mint or parchment guard and you'd have a winner.

Hey Kirk, just want to say the last album is great.

    5150 ii or 5150 iii 50 watt

I vote for PV. Proven to be indestructible and one of the best high gain tones ever. But, if a better clean is important to you the EVH is no slouch either.

    Anybody using Walrus Audio pedals?

I've read a couple times that the Julia is the best chorus ever.

    Opinion: Charvel sucks now

That's what I said. So, I made one but not HSS, only HS.

    Opinion: Charvel sucks now

What I'd love to see is a run of HSS SoCals in the classic Fender colors like Shell Pink, Sonic Blue, Surf Green etc.

    JP2C gut shots

I had my JP2C out of the head-shell today as I was checking out some preamp tubes and just wanted to look inside. Sorry for massive pic size and I did not realize top pic was blurry until blown up. For your viewing pleasure, here is what I saw:

Looking for a Boss NS-2. I have this stuff to trade. If you have a NS-2 and any of this stuff interests you, give me a pm. I am really just looking for trades but if classified police insist on price you can buy the lot for $5,000. Price negotiable. Pics available if needed. Randall MOR pedal...

Ok here I bow thy head in shame. The JP-2C is fine.

Agree on preferring not using shred but I do like it when playing very low volumes when family is sleeping.

Ok here I bow thy head in shame. The JP-2C is fine.

I'm glad you sorted it out. I'm loving this amp. Only feature I'm not sure on yet is the Shred. I like what it does, it could actually replace my OD808 for my needs, but it does add some hiss. I guess this is to be expected considering what it is but I don't like that it comes after my...

Need recommendations for an 8 ohm parallel box

So, I just got a great new amp, the Mesa JP2c. I currently own three cabs. They include a 16 ohm 4x12, a 16 ohm 2x12, and an 8 ohm Thiele 1x12. According to Mesa manual if I have an 8 ohm parallel box I can play all of my cabs at once or both 16 ohm cabs. I'd love to try this. I know nothing...

    So... Mark V or JP-2C?

I'd go with the JP. I had a MK V and did not gel. Offed it fast so, maybe would have figured it out. Just got a JP. My favorite amp to date so far. Bonded right away. Not sure what advantage of stacking EQ's would be. A single JP EQ has enough range I would see no use in extending that range...
