I preferred it to the VH4. I bought the Hagen first and then the VH4. Although I was combining amps, I found myself dialing in more Hagen than the VH4. So I replaced the VH4 with another Hagen as back up. Its a phenomenal amplifier than does HEAVY as well as good cleans and Marshall style...

Hagen for me. Said it before and will say it again. VH4 is a great amp but its only that ONE channel (channel 3) that gave me joy! The Hagen gives me the smile factor over all four channels!

Well my EP should be ready by end of August/September. Its ALL Hagen! Best tone I've got yet! My last band the singer was using a JCM900 and I was using a Mark V. Tones were pretty sweet but the Hagen is something else :) You can the last album I did here before I left back in September...

Plenty of options. G-Major and Eclipse are the most favorited. With the Diezel you barely need anything. Just a hand full of texture effects and your good to go. Look at the Ozzy guys, a handful of pedals and not too much that could go wrong.
