I did mine this way from that exact drawing. I used an EVH cab and replaced the bottom 2 speakers with v30s. Next I took out 1 of the EVH speakers in the top and replaced with a g12-h30 70 ani.. just to see how it would sound, and I like them better.. just a personal preference.

Agree 100%! I should have clarified I use it as a boost only. BE gain around 1, 2 o'clock, then boost.

I like the Electro Harmonix 6L6 EH. Tried them in a 5150, and are in my 6505+ now. I liked them better than JJ, Winged C, TAD 6L6GCSTR, and Ruby. Original USA 6L6GC STR-387 (old Peavey Super 6) beat 'em out, but I like the EH's for new production. Here's some goofin'.. stock 6505+...

As stated before, the power section makes/breaks the pedal, PLUS how many volts you run.. 9 or more to 18. I have a '14 Be-100 and a BE-OD with the artwork. I can get the tone I want through my BE. Then run the same guitar, cables, cab with the BE-OD through the BE fx return and get the same...
