Yo guys! I'm getting Diezel gas, and from what i can tell, they can all do pretty brutal high gain and take a number of different types of power valves (the Herbert you can mix different ones, yes?) So, how differently are they voiced? What are the advantages of one over the other? Thanks! Adam

I always like 6L6's and Tung Sol are a great make. Go for them!

I prefer a cab with v30's or K100's in personally. You can't really go wrong with vintage 30's unless you hate mids

I'd say go for it! The G12T75's are a bit more on the treble side than the 100's, and i found the 100's to be more balanced. So maybe try them too if you can :D A great combo with v30's in my opinion!

I have a mesa 4x12 with vintage 30's, but i've recently changed to a custom built Matamp 4x12 with 2 vintage 30's and 2 hot 100's in an X pattern, sounds amazing!

Yeah, i've heard numbers of hours all over the show! I practice for about 4 hours, once a week with my band. So that's all that my new cab gets used. In few months, i'm sure it'll sound great, no piercing highs and a smoother bottom end. I'm just aiming at the highest figure i've heard, 50 hours

The Erect is my favourite module, it just suits my musical style so well! I can't get a bad sound out of it :D It also loves being driven hard by my ceramic warpig!
