Sounds very nice. I don't boost channel 2 so I'm curious what you are using on the boost and what settings you have on the amp. I imagine the gain on the D Moll is set around or below noon.

Maxon 808 - Works great with the Engl's, Marshall's and Bugera's I've had...not so much with Diezel's but they don't really need a boost. The Engl I used it with (Invader) didn't need a boost to get dirtier if that makes sense, but it did add a nice character to sound. No gain, balance at 3...

I've got it on my iPhone. Perfect app for late night jamming and great to hear about the new features. I have an inexpensive set of noise canceling headphones from Sony that I use it with and it sounds fantastic through them. A lot more beef than with standard earbuds.

I've got a Slash sig that I left back in the US when I moved to the UK last year. Being more of a metal player in my youth I never really got into it. As I'm getting older I find myself missing that amp though. Like others said, there's something to that mid range tone that just sticks out.

How do you have the Z9 hooked up? If via Midi then it's as James describes. If not then I don't believe you can set the channels independently.
