I had a small rack in the 80s/90s then fell in the pedal craze in the 2000s and ended up with a 18" x 48" pedalboard with huge case. It was obnoxious as heck to bring on stage at most gigs. I then replaced all the digital pedals with an Eventide Eclipse and Lexicon PCM80 in a shallow rack with a...
Please re-release this in both 8 and 16 versions! You have the best routing product available but not supporting true line level is a major downfall! The 8B and GL have no headroom, fine for pedals but not for professional line level processors. I have both the 8F and 8B and the 8F (pedal...
I was testing the levels for some recording and caught this moment; I didn't even know which amp I was playing at the time and then realized it was the Splawn. Kind had me feel'n it... Backing track is the Digitech Trio +, please excuse the double time in the beginning.

I'm going to try and do another more based around the SYN2 in the loop of my RM50 and also using the direct out for recording. I only have a couple Egnater modules that I modded but they seem to react nicely in the SYN2.
Thank you!!!
The Friedman DS = the Dirty Shirley which is based off a modified JTM 45.
It's a very flexible module and the Cleans and Breakup tones are where it really shines.
That power amp is expecting a line level signal, not instrument level. I think you need to review all your gain stages and verify you are maintaining unity. You may need a line level shifter but I would think the CAE devices should have it covered. Perhaps an internal level dip switch?
On my board, no it's pretty solid but the LF controller adds a lot of rigidity to the top. You definitely want the expression pedals on the sides though. I like the mounting plates but the sticky tape they come with is terrible. I uses some Parma double sided RC tape; it sticks great and peels...
Not at all with the Trailer Trash boards, they are solid as can be but heavy.
Here's my old 48x18 board:
The big board was a bit obnoxious taking it to gigs especially on small stages. I put all the digital effects that required a 4CM in a rack and went with a smaller board.
Here is the...
If your willing to drop the coin for a second amp and an A/B/Y switcher, I would instead consider a small midi switching system. Something with an audio switcher that you could switch in/out an EQ for the clean channel and a control function switcher to toggle the channels on your amp. This...
Looks like the Midi Moose accepts phantom power through pins 1 and 3 (the 2 outer pins) with a standard 5 pin cable. I build my own midi cables so I would just wire the connector appropriately. There's a diagram for the phantom power in the users manual. The Midi Moose should work great.
I'm not positive it supplies phantom power but most likely it will. If it is designed similar to the RM4/M4 there may be an internal dip switch to enable power to pins 4 & 5 for powering with a 5 pin cable. Pins 7 & 8 are always active. Make sure the power is off when making the change to the...
It depends on how the RT2/50 was last programmed but you can program it to behave any way you like. So if the RT is in switching mode and you have EL34s on one side and 6L6s on the other, You may like channel 1 of the IE paired with the 6L6s and channel 2&3 with EL34s then channel 4 with 6L6s...
