No serial on this one and James B didn't recall if they were serialized. Guess the tell will be if they are white tolex... But I swear on a Facebook group or somewhere, the guy who did them posted.. and he had pics of pretty much all of them. was hoping to match up the pattern... No biggie...

According to James Brown, they did white Vinyl & sprayed them. 16 Striped heads & 4x12's. And he can't remember if any of the striped heads were dummies.

The reason i was asking is I came across one.. just trying to see if it might be legit rather than a spray job.

In the early 90's Eddie used striped 5150's on stage (I'm guessing just dummy backline). There are pix from an ad, as well as footage from the MTV music awards and the free Texas show (I think that was '93?) Anyway - I saw a post a while back (online somewhere), where the guy who did the work...

Nothing major, but I'd guess: Helping establish ProgpowerUSA fest standards as part of the original crew. Got to tour as a backliner with a few bands - US tour, shorts tours of Europe twice. Coolest experience (not really an accomplishment per se) was sitting in for a guitarist on soundcheck...

I grew up on 1 Hum, one vol guitars - using the volume knob for cleans. Went to H/S a few decades ago, and that's my preference.. but there is nothing like plugging into a single hum guitar and cranking the volume, and letting it rip.

That was local to me a few weeks ago (CT store).. not a super common configuration. Those VHT are flexible but can be a bit dry & unforgiving. Never hurts to have a good Marshall though
