For my Liberatore I used to be super crazy, but what the hell it's a metal guitar...
I bought this guitar a few years ago, thinking I would give it some love, but never had time/cash to do so.

I always loved these threads!
My favorite musicians change/rotate all the time
So here we go for a Virtuoso thrash band
Drums: Asgeir Mickelson
Guitar: Alex Skolnick
Guitar: Kristian Niemann
Bass: Roger Patterson (RIP)
Vocal: no need for drama queens ;p
My Herbert settings:
Chan1. No highs, everything else noon
Chan 2+ Everything noon, gain about 3/4
Chan 3 Everything noon, gain about 3/4 also
MID CUT on both level & intensity, noon
Deep & Presence, Noon
Master to taste. Voilà. I think it's "out of the box" settings ;)
Although I have a custom guitar, my to-go axe is my old japanesse Jackson dinky PILE OF SKULLS, it's got bare knuckles and it's beaten to death, I really don't care about the paint anymore (it's not in a museum) and it just feels right
