Super appreciative of the feedback…. Maybe I just stick with the FU tone, classic FR or Gotoh model…. Wanted something that could provide me the stability but easier to maintain while staying in tune… if it can’t be relied to stay in tune then it’s not for me. Cheers!

I did and he said Grover is semi-retired and he wouldn’t be able to complete and further custom requested work in a Friedman guitar when it comes to choosing wood body options. I was looking to see what that really meant. Seems to me they decide to go different ways and ended their partnership.

Same here… was looking at some other custom builders that may do an overall better job like Luxxtone but it comes with a hefty price tag.. Chubtone is close and much better value ? for sure… I was seriously looking at Luxxtone but had a real hard time with the price tag, and for that matter...
