Hey guys, just curious what power tubes do you prefer in your Driftwood? I like the stock TAD’s but just curious what you’ve tried and what you like or dislike about them.

I have a MKII version of the 100P, I’ve not had the opportunity to play the MKIII but was told that it is better sonically overall. I don’t like pushing it with my 33, but my savage drive and direwolf sound great with it.

I have a multiwatt, but my issue is quite the opposite. My bassist hates when I bring it to the rehearsal space because it is so low end heavy that he feels like he’s fighting me for the low frequencies. Lol.

There’s so much to consider about what you really want/need. Me personally, I’m a fan of the KHE switchers.

I have all of toontrack’s products, bought GGD last year but just wasn’t a fan of the sound. I still use EZ Drummer 2 more, but I enjoy the Ugritone midi packs more than toontracks offerings. Strictly my opinion though.
