I read up on how to re tension tube sockets and I wanted to do this myself..I can't believe people pay to have this done.

yeah we measured pins 9 and 18 it was supposed to be +5 volts and I think it read out to something like 3 volts...I can't remember and I don't have a multimeter here at home to double check. I should have one here soon though... so I can get back to you on that one.
Started troubleshooting my FU-3 last night.
we have determined the cable is fine, so now we are thinking it's the chips on the board

we tested the pins on the logic chip for power but did not get the...
ah ok, so beyond the sound you just don't like the cab, that's reasonable- everyone has their own tastes.
I was going to suggest a Vader cab but I think they have legends also.
I say either the Marshall 1960b or a Mesa cab.

yeesh, opened up the footswitch and I don't know what's wrong, it's more than the cable but I can't pinpoint what the issue is.
I'm probably just going to flip the footswitch over to someone that wants to mess with it.
