I feel the same way about this video as I did when the actual Black album came out. How fitting that they chose this song too. Is it 1991 or 2021?
I never thought I would miss 80's Thrash as much as I do right now. I kept imagining a young Billy Milano walking into that studio during that...
I just got my very first Recto over the weekend, 2016 DR MW Blackout. I literally just figured out this exact same thing tonight. I'm using a Helix into the front and going through all the different drives to see which one I like with each channel and mode. Very interesting. Then I tried an EQ...
Helios 100 70s mode, hot input is totally awesome. Takes a boost like a champ and is super open, raw and uncompressed. Your video nails it dude. Flip it over to 80s and it's like a different amp. I love it, exactly what I hoped it would be. Congrats on the new amp. Hope it works out well for you...
I never did write Bogner about the bias, suppose I will when I need to. Now after having owned it for awhile I can absolutely say that I had it dialed in way to bright for that video and I screwed up playing in it a bit. I've made seven different Profiles so far and that original tone in the...

Which comes with G12E-60 speakers.
That HUGE stuck on 5150 logo looks horrible to me and the inside of that amp looks like a hamster/guinea pig cage, just needs some wood shavings stuffed in there for the little buggers to build a bed in. WTF! Put some tubes in there! It looks cheap, because it is cheap.
Seems like a $h!ty money...
70s mode is huge, less compressed, bolder and there is a big volume bump up from 80s to 70s.
Same settings as the pictures. Apparently you can jumper the FX loop and run it as a global master but I haven't tried that. These were recorded though a Suhr reactive load w/ a Mesa oversized 4x12 V30 IR.
Posted this in a few other forums but thought I'd share here too.
This amp is absolutely fantastic, it really is something special.
The build quality is top notch, very high quality parts and it shows. Nothing loose, no sharp edges or uneven parts or tolex and this is a 2015.
Every dial is...
