Well, I do both mic'd audio as well as cell phone audio in this video, so everyone will be happy :). You can even flip back and forth between the two at will to see the comparison. I've found ways to get some decent tones from phone audio, so I won't say it's terrible, but they can be terrible...

Thanks for watching and commenting! That was definitely me! Since the late 90's I've had some sort of EQ in my loops, but most of them were multiband preset type EQ that lives inside of multi effects units. I Hadn't really even heard of a Parametric EQ. Even if I did, they seem too complicated...

Definitely agree here! I play so loud that some of the nuances likely disappeared in the room due to ear fatigue, they sounded dead on in the room! That's why you gotta take it to the mic, the mic will break it down in more detail!

Definitely agree, they're my favorite strat by far. Very versatile and can do just about anything. If you go and play some metal with them, then grab any other guitar with a traditional sized side by side humbucker they sound muddy by comparison. It's a very interesting guitar for sure. Funny...

The MIJ YJM's are also very well made! I have them from all era's and they're all fantastic!

Definitely agree here! I have a 77' Strat that I scalloped myself and added the YJM Fury's and absolutely love it!

All YJM models are scalloped. Fender makes a TON of Strats that aren't scalloped though. I've seen quite a few strats that folks put his signature loaded pickguard onto. That would be the easiest way to get what you're after!
