I listen on multiple devices before posting videos. 2 different Bluetooth speakers from Harmon Kardon & JBL, Samsung Galaxy Buds+ & Galaxy Buds Pro, TV, Laptop, studio monitor, hell even listen on my phones. You're saying all of these things color the tone in such a way that it completely...
I go for in the room tones, no layering, no post EQ, so you have a much better idea of what you're actually going to hear in the room vs multi layered, post processed stuff. There's not a single piece of audio I own that this sounds thin on. I ask for specifics, so I can maybe expand what I...
Much appreciated! I found this at a local shop for a great price, so I figured ehat the hell? The online demos sounded good for those classic Marshall tones!
What did you listen on? Just trying to get an idea of how folks are getting thin/anemic sounds when I'm hearing thick/beefy sounds from...
I wasn't going for any sort of rock tones, there are plenty of folks doing those videos with the pleximan already. I will be making some videos with those as well at some point. Very curious what exactly you're listening on as well as this tone sounds beefy on any decent quality audio device I...
I started with Metal since no one had done it yet, and it sounded damn good IMO! Plenty of other Marshall sounding videos, but I still plan on that as well!
Radial Bigshot has worked for amp switching well for years for me. You'll need 2 separate cabs with it though. The Radial Headbone will work for 2 amps to one cab, but it sometimes makes crazy noises with high gain amps connected.
Much appreciated! It's also serial#0000! Apparently a pre-production demo!
By chance what were you listening on? With Devin saying it sounded thin/anemic on his side I think I may need to get more sources of audio to tone check before posting videos.
TIA
I plan on getting around to doing stuff like that at some point, for now I'm focused on sharing the raw amp tones. I feel that a lot of folks think the amps actually sound how you hear them in a recording in real life. For most amps that's quite a ways off. This thing sounded absolutely insane...
Very interesting indeed, even on my little ol Harmon/Kardon Bluetooth Speaker it sounds quite stout. Keep in mind This is a live track you're hearing, no post processing, no multiple tracks. The raw amp through a cab on a mic'd & the in room mic you see, into an interface directly into my...
What are you listening on? This plays a big part. I typically listen on my bluetooth speakers, buds, tv and laptop before posting. Sounds absolutely tremendous on buds as well as bluetooth speakers. Cell phone audio, laptop and TV typically leave a lot to be desired.
Saw this amp at a local shop, never heard of them, but was curious. Did some research on the interwebs and saw some damn good tone demos. The lingering question from some of the threads I saw was if it could get any sort of Metal type tones. I hit the front with a Dirty Tree to find out!
Let me...
This can also pertain to the forums! Someone wastin your time? Send em this tutorial ?
Apologies if not allowed, please delete, but wow do some people really need to take some notes!
I found out about this thread because of the post that was made over there. All of it is hilarious. I love my boogies, but as many others have said, none of them are worth that price, but then again a 50's strat shouldn't be worth $20k+ either. The market will dictate the price either way. The...
Many folks have done the callaham swap with favorable results! The kess expensive way is to simply practice the scalloped board more. Have to develop a super light touch, which will eventually pay for itself by not wearing frets!
