    Friedman preamp?

As for the FX loop: It needs to sound transparent of course, but I am sure, Dave's loop does. But having a switchable loop gives you the option to have a nice FX enabled with a certain channel. I like that idea with every amp.

    Friedman preamp?

A Friedman preamp would be great. 3 full channels channels/19"/2 RU 1: Full Clean 2: BE w. C45 switch 3. HBE with JBE/Sat switchable FX loop remote switching: Channel 1-3, FX, I doubt we need MIDI unless Dave has this at hand Personally I do not need a compensated out but proper interfacing to...

    VH4 and Eventide H9

Well, ideally you would need two H9s. I guess that's why Eventide offers a cheaper version that has less standard algorithms. Some effects simply need to be in front of the amp, like the new EQ. It makes also sense to have a pitch shifter before the gain stages. It is some extra money but it...

A very nice tool for the VH-4

The Source Audio unit is a single channel unit plus it is digital. I'd say, don't buy without trying.

A very nice tool for the VH-4

VH-4 owners... get yourself an Akai PEQ6. This is an old seven band EQ. What makes it special: a. it is analog b. it has MIDI and storable patches c. it is not one 7-band EQ but SIX! Insert channels 1-4 of the EQ into the VH-4 inserts and you have an additonal programable EQ per channel! The...

    Twinjet versus Diezel Hagen/Herbert

Are you refering to the Überschall Rev. 2 as being superior to the TJ? And Herbert being better ... in what way?

    Twinjet versus Diezel Hagen/Herbert

Great, it is getting interesting. Let me know more! Also how do they prove in a two guitarist band context.

    Twinjet versus Diezel Hagen/Herbert

I recently had a Bogner Twinjet here which which was quite impressive with low tuninigs. Less stiff than a VH4 but not muddy at all. Has anyone compared it to a Hagen or Herbert? I know, the Diezels do offer a lot more features but when it comes to High Gain low tunings which one do you prefer...

Mark uses a Herbert while Mark's rhythm tone is a mixed Triple Rectifier Red Channel with a Bogner Ueberschall. Got that info directly in Sep. 2013.

Diezel Hagen 4 Cable Method AxeFX

All I can say, is that all external preamps I routed into the return of a Hagen and recently Herbert sounded incredible. As good as the best power amps money buy and better than the power amps you can buy these days.

the new name of diezel amps "D-moll"....probing

Why not chose the obvious: Einstein II This will let any Diezel user and future customer know the basic concept and positioning in the product range immediately. I presume the Einstein will be disconinued. Compared to a Herbert vs Herbert mk2, the II might not emphasize the new concept strong...

So, what's new for the Musikmesse ?

I know: The first amp to feature four master volumes: a. Rhythm b. Solo c. Explanation mode (in rehearsal space) d. Mute mode Both modes c and d can be separately remote controlled by others to avoid gniddling! ;-)

    James Hetfield and Diezel future?

Not to me... I prefer 81s at the bridge. Just a matter of taste. Hetfield is certainly a great player. Let's see what the Fortin/Randall things will sound like. Fortin sounds great from what I heard so far and Randall have a great concept with the MTS series, esp. when modded. Great news...
