Thanks man. The Silverburst has a Duncan distortion. The traditional has a set of BK dissonant aggressors, pretty thick and gainy sounding but the strings still ring out. I’d say the Silverburst is a little brighter and has more sizzle. The ebony board probably contributes to that.

Me too! I think I had three guitars at one point with motor city pups. I got an Antiquity JB a few years ago for my goldtop and love it… crispy & clear, single notes sing and great chugs for what I like to play.
