Yeah I bought 2 speaker cables to run it in stereo from the cab to the power amp. I still use that instrument cable but now its going from the axe fx to the power amp
Yeah I leave the cab sims off and power amp sims on, and yes the pod is still fizzy but not as bad with the same gain levels and same exact set up. Once I block 140 and 6000 with the Parametric EQ it sounded alot better than my pod. Maybe those frequencies are bad on my cab I'm going to try it...
EDIT: I played with the parametric eq some more and got it to sound pretty good so I guess I'll just work from there thanks for all the advice guys I really appreciate it.

Thanks the parametric eq trick worked great I used to do something similar with my Pod, it did make it sound smaller though like you said. But basically to get the most out of the Axe FX I need a monitor rather than a guitar cab?
