Hey, when I was a 'jazzer' I had an absolutely wonderful playing and sounding Ibanez AG95FM.
Honestly, wish I had never sold it but that's the way she goes.
Hello RT,
So, truth be told, I have not spent a great number of years or anything slotting nuts, but I have already successfully used methods other than what I see mostly online to cut them without issue as far as depth.
Yeah, you can use the online advice to get you in the general area...
"The crystal lattices inside this coffee cup help retain optimal heat, whereas your normal, styrofoam cup just presses all of the fragile heat electrons right out."
Isn't that that one absolutely terrible sounding guitarist that somehow 'made it'.
I cannot remember his name for the life of me but when I watched one of his guitar vids, I thought someone was pranking me.
Improve your tone? That page is weird.
If they mean, changes it, yes.... Playing a barre chord as opposed to the open variant DOES sound different. Better? Depends on the context it is used in.

On the bench:
Acoustic with a neck like a banana.
Action is at 5+mm.
Frets have rust.
Mold on fretboard and bridge/body.
Will post updates soon!
Drill press is the solution to your problems. You cannot drill any type of holes for a bridge by hand. There are some holes you can get away with drilling by hand, but anything to do with the bridge has to be done with a drill press.
If they were off as far as measuring, and you need that...
Sire L3 P90

Just for reference - if I got my PRS for around the same price as some new Epiphones, am I still allowed to wear the tan pants?
Put my new clothes order on hold until this is answered.
Cool! Glad it helped save you some time. Yes, as you said, you do have to be careful or you can bend it and, as you also mentioned, this is even less of a worry if you have pickup rings.
I have an A2 set that I have been toying with the idea of trying A4s in.
Hope it works out well for you!!
