Thanks for the clips, nice playing. I like the SLO clip the best, figures since I own the other two amps.

I just bought a Zoom G3 for $148.00 shipped tonight for home use. They have gotten good reviews and the price is nice. :)

I listened to these clips and assumed that these were the different tube comparisons. ECSTASY 101B = EL34 ECSTASY 101A = 6L6 I could be wrong but there is a difference in sounds.

I recently bought a 20th XTC with the EL34's and do not have any regrets. It was a tough decision though, I listened to the clips on the Bogner site many, many times. I wanted to like the 6L6 version more as I have an amp with EL34's already but went with them anyway.

You are probably right, but it is to late now. I wish I had only put down a deposit instead of paying in full up front for it a year and a half ago. :thumbsdown:

I bought mine blind and went with the EL34, it was damaged in shipping and had to send it back to Bogner. I won't think you would be dissapointed with either version. I made my decision after listening to the clips on the Bogner site many, many times.

Thanks. Here is what the Bogner guys figured. "Just to let you know we received the amp yesterday, we were baffled what happed never seen something like this where the chassis bends out. But I know what happed, the amp wasn't centered anymore, you could see that on the front panel, I'm 100%...

They are going to ship a new one to me. Here is are some pics of the back of the amp. It's not a big deal but might affect the resale value if I ever decide to sell it.

Thanks for the pic, that is the spot where it's poking out. I got it from a dealer, the guy who runs this forum.

I bought it new, or it is suppose to be anyway. There are no marks or scratches on it, so it appears to be new. It's a V sticking out, the screw between the foot switch jack and the Style switch the screw isn't in all way or they aren't in right.

Thanks for the reply. I only had a few hours with it this morning, but it was a huge disappointment. It doesn't look like there is any damage from shipping, it was packed pretty good in the Bogner box. I will take a look inside and make sure the tubes are seated. What about the back panel...

I just received the new amp this week and have a few questions for anyone with experience with it. Upon unpacking it I noticed that the back panel is sticking out between Remote Control & Sound Style switch. There is a screw between them but I didn’t mess with it as it might cause a short or...
