The Snott Watt is a great little amp, love mine and for home use you can't beat it! Crank it up and it will deliver the goods!

Good advice here. I sold all of mine gear to go an Axe FX rig and drove everyone crazy with the tweaking. That said, I am thinking of trying the Axe II as a multi fx unit with an amp and use it at home for recording.

Funny, I was just thinking earilier today about going this route as well. So many choices, the Mako and the VHT would probably give the most tonal options. Takes up a lot of space though, the triaxis is one I would consider due to the size.
