I think the bottom end can get a bit loose and tubby for high gain.. at least with my 2x12..... but the simple, little sd-1 brings some magic for sure. And I'm not saying it's a flabby low end... I actually love it stock... but to get the razors edge.... it does need that push. What's...

I'm mono mic'd live fyi.... but I have it time noon, time 2 dotted eight, repeats 10clock, mod deep, type 12 bit, mix noon on both... adjust to room a bit but this pedal is f'n beautiful.

My SLO 30 boosted with my SD-1 is possibly the greatest sounding and feeling tone I've had to date.... and Ive had pretty much all of them... It is just fun to play and 'dig in'.... My guitar player plays an SLO 100 and they just create this sonic bloom and wall of sound together... no harsh...

Yep... I like the vibe and mojo overall. He definitely focuses on the vocal melodies and they fit the song well. It's kind of refreshing and just 'fun' to listen to. Some good riffs in there as well.... They just played it live last night and it sounded good and band seemed locked in...

Friedman Buxom Boost gets the nod.... also really dug my Suhr Koko Boost when I had it... gelled with every amp. Those for hitting front end. Love my JRAD Dude, Flashback 2 and CAE boost line driver in loop for leads.

Yep... I'm not spending those asking prices. Missed one on Reverb today that went quick and was priced right. I don't use Reverb for personal reasons and was trying to contact seller to deal... but it sold before I could.
