I ran my BE-OD into the fron of my '76 JMP which was set fairly clean and it sounded great....with my EP booster on it was huge! Tons of headroom! The difference maker in my opinion is the ability to use the "tight" control on the BE-OD to find a great balance.
This is exactly why I love his playing style. His solos have such a "style" and "feel" to them that I don't get from others. Not that there aren't better players, but with Gilmour it's just a different level if that makes sense.
That is quite unfortunate. I had two amps modded by Trace and each time he was always available and we spoke multiple times on the phone without time constraints. That said, I know he is extremely busy but perhaps you can try to reach him directly through one of their media outlets. I know he...
Damn!! Your amp builds continue to be my favorite of all! Stellar work and they always sound killer! Not too mention these old PA's make the best looking amps!

I live in Fredericksburg and highly recommend you pay a visit to Picker's Supply in downtown Fredericksburg on Caroline Street: https://www.pickerssupply.com/
Walking into the back room is like walking in a museum of acoustic guitars. Their stuff is amazing!
Looking for a friend...........Peavey Triple XXX footswitch. PM me is you have one to sell or know where I can find one. They seem to be difficult to come buy. They is a few on Reverb but shipping from Canada is driving up the price.
Killer tune!! Love Alter Bridge!!
They will be in Baltimore on Sept. 22nd and I can't wait to see them again. Mark is also my favorite. I had the opportunity to attend one of his VIP guitar lesson dates before a show in NYC and he was such a down to earth and humble dude!
