Thanks a ton.
Nah, different guitarist.
The rh guits on the album were 5153 through matching cab, miked with at250de, r121 and sm57.
Leads were hr100+, crunch this JMP.
Can't remember which cabs I used for leads and crunch though.
Thanks.
these are unprocessed (I never do more to my guitar sounds than maybe 60/12k high. lowpass).
don't have the individual tracks anymore though, sorry
So yeah, here's one for the fans of more vintage voiced amps...it's still rather high gain obviously, but if you like those typical Marshall high mids, you might like this clip.

Man, how I love the SOLDANO Custom Amplification SLO100...and the Kemper Amps....and EMG Pickups!
A lot of people still ask if the SLO can do modern metal...hell yes it can!
Here's one example for a modern tone (KSE Cover)...I also profiled this tone ,'cause I liked it so much...
The chain...
Here's a comparison that should show you the difference between the stock SLO100 (loop in) and the modded version with the loop bypassed (make sure to listen on high quality cans or speakers).
First it's a clip edited to switch back and forth between the two, then after that you can hear the...
Like Olaf said, I have/had a couple of different Soldanos, they all have that unique soldano signature tone, no night/day differences between them.
I used to own or still own:
Sp77 (Japan and USA)
SL60
Hr50
Hr100+ (modded to slo specs by Olaf/duesentrieb)
The sp77 are really nice preamps and...
When I replaced the t75 with greenbacks it took the uberkab to a whole new level.
All the minor issues I had with it (stuffy/wooly low mids and brittle high end fizz) were gone entirely.
Loving it
The Hagen is also an exceptionally nice looking amp IMO. I have changed the chrome corners for black ones though, that made it l look even much more "coherent"
@Peter: danke, ich schreibe dich nachher mal über die HP an, oder lieber hier über pn?
(Sorry everyone for the brief German OT)

Well, the guys at Mesa used to say that the 3ch sounded exactly like the 2ch rectos, so I'd take that with a grain of salt.
My 5153 is revC, JJ power tubes. V1 was a sovtek 12ax7wa...I obviously changed that right away.
Still, I'd really like to know what the differences actually are
I do like the Hagen and it certainly has a very unique voicing....which definitely doesn't work for everybody.
I understand people who say it's very tight sounding, as it does the "start-stop" thing very well (actually feels like playing with a gate), and it also has great string separation.
But...
