Well, the guys at Mesa used to say that the 3ch sounded exactly like the 2ch rectos, so I'd take that with a grain of salt. My 5153 is revC, JJ power tubes. V1 was a sovtek 12ax7wa...I obviously changed that right away. Still, I'd really like to know what the differences actually are
