Well the new amps been on the floor for nearly a week in the box due to having a sick kid in the hospital but I got about 15 minutes on it today and it’s awesome. I’m really happy with the sound and it’s night and day difference from the first one. All good.

Peter thanks for your input I’ll update how the new one is when it shows up, I expect it will live up to what I’m hoping for. Love your amps and can’t wait to have one in my collection.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve had tube amps for almost 30 years and haven’t heard a sound quite like this one and according to the specs the power tubes are KT77 and I don’t have spares for those and also for almost three grand I feel as though I shouldn’t have to work on an amp out of the box...

Sweetwater is sending me another one so I’ll keep my fingers crossed the replacement is what I had hoped for in this amp.
