I'd check out a production Ormsby. A multiscale always was interesting to me as a 7 string player so I dipped my toe into these with an Ormsby GTR 7 after reading reviews and joining their facebook group. For about a grand used, it's a huge value. Now I've got rid of most of the GTR's and...

I had no idea Sweetwater was so huge. And I've never made a purchase from them...but several from Guitar Center. Odd.

I have Tobin's LACS 8 string that was the prototype for his Ibanez signature. Really an awesome guitar.
