Honestly this is a pet peve of mine. These days brutal equals super aggressive LOOKING guitars and amps tuned to Z or whatever. Thats nice and all but the RIFFS are what make a song heavy not the fucking tuning.

Duncan Distortion is always a good choice for heavy tones (not clean so much though), affordable too.

Id hit that amp with a TC Electronic Preamp. If you could find one.. might turn it into something modern. My '78 JMP turns into a firebreathing dragon when I use my TC Booster/Line Driver.

Well the saddles are beat up and so I want some nice new looking ones. All I can find are those GraphTechs... I would rather have metal though.

My saddles are all nasty lookin and kinda rusted in places, I was wondering if I can source just the saddles themselves instead of a replacement bridge..? Something like this but made of metal...

2nd tune was wicked man. Odd and awesome all at the same time. I think agree with the chord definition the other poster mentioned, that tone is kind of dark.. works well in the tune though. nice dreds btw ;D
