I've seen older M4s that have the FX loops on them and also the wet/dry control for the parallel loop I just wondered why they disposed of that on the newer M4s I assume the change came when they made the switch to a dual channel module version of the M4 I just wondered why the loops had to go

I use a Rivera 2x12 cabinet that is tough as they come and I swapped out the EV's for a pair of Celestion Sidewinders (S12-150) great speaker for what I like and they have no midrange dip in response so what you put in is what you hear in the mids they do have a nice smoothing in the top end...

No - I wondered because the M4 doesn't have an FX loop, although by the fact that it's just a preamp you could insert the E2 after the M4 Is that correct?
