Jeff - can we buy these screws as a spares item? I have a couple with slightly dodgy screw threads and am fearful of causing damage to my M4

    Tourmaster Advice

Silly question (but maybe valid ) Are you putting the fuse holder back in the right way My M4 has a fuseholder that also selects the input voltage and can be put in one of 4 ways I thought my M4 was dead on arrival - turns out I had just put the fuseholder in the wrong way (when changing to...

Why did Egnater lose the FX loop on the M4

Thankyou for the answer - knew there was a tone issue at the centre of it. I will have to compare my Egnater M4 back to back with my Randall RM4

Why did Egnater lose the FX loop on the M4

I've seen older M4s that have the FX loops on them and also the wet/dry control for the parallel loop I just wondered why they disposed of that on the newer M4s I assume the change came when they made the switch to a dual channel module version of the M4 I just wondered why the loops had to go

    SPEAKER PREFRENCES

I use a Rivera 2x12 cabinet that is tough as they come and I swapped out the EV's for a pair of Celestion Sidewinders (S12-150) great speaker for what I like and they have no midrange dip in response so what you put in is what you hear in the mids they do have a nice smoothing in the top end...

Eggie E2, Who is definantly going to pick it up?

I definitely want one But I would love an "E4" - same thing but with 4 module slots Then I can effectively have two M4s or add 8 sounds(  ) to my Marshall combo

So is the M2 / E2 a stand alone preamp?

No - I wondered because the M4 doesn't have an FX loop, although by the fact that it's just a preamp you could insert the E2 after the M4 Is that correct?

So is the M2 / E2 a stand alone preamp?

How would I be able to use it with an M4? I have a slot free in my rack and 2 extra modules would be cool

    Suggestion for Egnater

I think Jeff's email inbox is suddenly full of requests for new custom modules! I think a lot of us may have similar interests in custom sounds A lot of players we all love whose tones fall outside what the current range of Eggie modules covers Jeff and Bruce will end up with a library of...

    Suggestion for Egnater

I love the idea and think it would be great for amp addicts to have modules that did what their boutique amps did I already said the 2 channel Fish preamp module could be a "Piscies" So would the Custom 3 CAE module be a "Suhr Thing" ? A few players would love a Mark preamp - Boogie Mk2/3/4...

Rank the Eggy Dual modules you've owned

Hurrah! I just swapped out the 1000pF for a 500pF on my EG3/4 Sounds great :D I may even try the 250pF just to see what happens, but I think the 500pF will be best for my ears Does a good Michael Schenker kind of tone - still nice and dark , but cutting - will have to try it with the wah wah...

Dark amp, treble up Vs. Bright amp, treble down

Thanks for the reply Bruce That is the hard bit - I must say that all the Eggie modules sound pretty stable the way they are I like my Eggie modules loads, and the SL2 has even reeducated me about how a crunchy Marshall should sound - I was getting a too thin sound before - the balance on my...

Dark amp, treble up Vs. Bright amp, treble down

Actually Bruce raises some interesting points Many of us already know that the majority of classic tube amps have pretty similar layouts Looking at all the modules I have - only 6 for now (more to follow) I can see that Bruce has been clever with the layout of the circuitboards enabling him to...
