Would SS have that thump of a good tube head? Despite being what it is.

Would a tube power amp affect the tone in a good way? Or wouldn't it matter, and should I go with a SS amp instead? I'm thinking about using a tube power amp for volume issues, so I can blend.

I have an Ultralead and a 5153, while I totally dig the 5153, saturation and tone, best bet is the Ultra, does cleans better, it's tighter, it's the most reliable amp I've owned. Cons- the ultra isn't a forgiving amp, but it'll make you a better player if your not lazy. And it tracks well, not...

Yeah I read the non EQ Marks are tighter. So I'll probably give it A try with the Mesa 5 band pedal.
