Yes, but arent the speakers at least 75% of the tone? Im really thinking financially it would be a better decision... but if its really THAT much of a difference i may go in another direction. I may try these lynch speakers you speak of. How about 2 hempcones and 2 lynch speakers or CL80's in...

I play rock guitar but also rock/blues. I like a loose/compressed feel. REALLY warm. Not at all ever been a fan of V30's. REally love the CL-80's i have in my bogner 1X12. Im gonna be playing my herbert through these. my einstein is paired with the bogner. What do you think? Hempcones or...

So i have a diezel RL with the custom eminence speakers and lately ive thought about swapping out the speakers for the hempcones instead of buying the new cab for a ballsload of money. Do you think it will significantly improve the sound, or has anyone tried this? .. i know it wont be the same...

I have litteraly played the ENGL SE and the Diezel Herbert side by side and the Herbert Pwns the Engl. I can also say however that either claim of the einstein not being as good, or being better is also untrue. I have both heads and have a good ear for tone. The einstein and the herbert both...

Yea.. i have also played all three amps and own 2 of them now. The herbert is just all around tonal extacy. I think everyone here has already touched on that subject. I like mine dialed in darker with more mids. Its simply just the most HUGE sound ever!! The Einstein doesnt get enough...
