Well damn. I guess I’m the only one who likes the Revv ?
I’ll elaborate a bit at least. I wanted an amp that could do a ton of sounds on tap and sound very modern. It does exactly that. The “doesn’t move air” I read in an earlier comment is confusing but I guess we all have different...
As surprised as I am, I did think it was gonna sell eventually. Most of the ones posted for sale the last few months have been beat to crap or missing things like the geq ect ect. Hey Mesa Boogie, maybe rerelease the IIC+ to the best of your ability lol? No cab clone, no shred mode, and give us...
Hey. So this thread has been awesome lol. I’m friends with the guy who posted it, sold last night for 10k. Hell it was an experiment to see how forums would react and I told him it’ll be gone in a matter of days. Does that mean I post my IV for 4k? Nah.
At this point we’re talking over 7 years ago so of course it’s not going to sound familiar, sent a JPXI 7 string and I ordered juggernauts from your shop. There was nothing lost in translation because you called me when it was done and ready to ship. Telling me it was impossible to wire it up...
Do not sell your IV for a JP2C. Save up and grab it. Then compare. Sold my JP2C to go back to a IV and if they ever tweak the JP a bit I might grab one again. It’s a pretty noisy amp and the shred mode just adds more of it.
Great time to be a guitar player as far as amp options go. The Revv is great bang for your buck compared to amps in the same price range as well. If you liked the first iteration of the Revv then I’m sure they Mk3 would blow you away. I got mine through SW so they’ll work a deal and I think I...
Lots of Revv “hate”. It’s not for everyone and it’s a very modern sounding amp. For me it’s like the modeler player’s dream amp. It’s got everything you need under the hood. I’m a fan, heck it’s why I bought one and it has its place.
Owned a Orthos MK2 for a bit but that voicing wasn’t my...
I paid 1,750 shipped for my IV a couple months ago but it was mint. New headshell from Mesa and apparently got serviced too. Find one sooner rather than later. These prices keep going up so I consider myself lucky.
First time dealing with them I got some BKP’s and sent my guitar there for installation . They called me when it was done and ready to ship but I had specifically requested the pickups be wired a certain way (JP6 pickup wiring ) . They didn’t do what I asked and was given an attitude about...
Are these guitars a one time run (obviously the 79 beat up ones are ) or is the VOS a production model now? Nothing wrong with trying to make a profit but for a guitar that’s already 6k I can’t see too many jumping on one priced at 12k+ second hand. Crazier things have happened I guess.
How about the logo? The one at namm in photos looked like the Diezel logo was a little too small. Interested in a mini VH for sure, especially if the tone/feel is there.
The cleans are killer and crunch is great. Channels 3 and 4 are awful. Kept it a week and returned it. I’d pay 500 for just the first 2 channels though. The noise gate is useless and effects are eh.
It’ll be a few weeks till I get the invective cab but it’ll be interesting to hear the difference pine makes. I would totally add the Creamback. It really does fill out the sound and makes the cleans even better. Either way you’ll love the PC!
V30/Creamback H combo. It’s by far my favorite cab. It fills up a room better than most cabs I’ve tried (Mesa,Orange,Peavey) waiting on my invective cab to see how it compares.
I agree it’s a very versatile pedal and I doubt I’d ever sell mine. Got to compare the sunset at the same time and riverside blew it away. So many great sounds in that box can’t imagine someone not liking it.
