I get a set of standard JJs from Eurotubes all matched and balanced. It's like an extra $1.50 each to do this and then I don't have to worry about which tube goes where crap. High Gain could cause the clean channel to get too dirty in the middle position on the pickups so it's not worth it IMO...

So purple mod, can it be done via Bogner as a pre-order or do I have to send it in after purchase? Purple mod makes Chan 1 cleaner or delay the gain knobs rate at which the gain comes in? Ex. TJ stock chan 1s gain knob at 5 is purple mods at 7 but both at 10 are equal? Thanks

Make sure all the speakers are working, my Diezel FL V30s was an open box and had an issue where one side was out and I noticed the same thing as I compared it to my Mesa Recto cab. When they're working properly it sounds different but in a good way and a nice alternative tone.
