Source Audio Collider, does a decent job of emulate the Roland Space Echo and an Echoplex. Digital delay sounds great too. The reverb algos are pretty great too. Best spring I've heard in a pedal (though I still use a real one).

Removing tone pots reduces capacitance (aka the capacitor on your tone pot) so now the guitar is sending more presence through your signal chain.
