I would pull the trigger if I were you. I got a 2010 model recently without ever playing one before and arguably its one of the best purchases I have made. You will be hard pressed to find and amp that is voiced like the Nitro. It is really unique.
wouldn't the perceived darkess of the 100 watter go away if you cranked it up more, relative to the 50 watter?
They both sound awesome but I prefer the 100 .
they all sound much better than anything I could muster :D
In all seriousness though, in the full mix they all sound extremely close and now I find myself wanting a GSP
This. I think her appeal comes from the fact that she looks like the type of gal who could be your best friend (she's gear knowledgeable and has a cute tomboy thing going on) and be a beast in the sack.
Damn being awesome at guitar sure doesn't give a good sense of aesthetics. That looks something that should be at a Cabellas or Gander Mountain, not at NAMM
^^ I agree. I liked the idea at first, but with people like Fargen and Suhr making lower watt plexis and JCMs these 1 watt Marshalls seem pointless.
I was considering the JVM since I miss mine but really they should have redone the JVM series to incorporate the built in attenuator and...
Thanks guys!
Right now I am contemplating the following WGS combos:
vet 30 / HM75
vet 30 / ET65
vet 30 / Lead 80
I want something that is good at high gain but still articulate so I think the last 2 combos might be the better choices.
I recently got a Bogner OS 2x12 ( thanks to glip22  ) unloaded and now I need to decide what speakers to throw in.
Is mixing speakers in a 2x12 a good idea or should this be reserved for 4x12s in an X pattern?
Thoughts, suggestions?
I currently have a Mesa 2x12 with v30s and I'm in...
In my '77 Custom I don't find the Solution to be too bright. I don't know how it would sit in a 57 though, but it might be an option.
MCP's are a little funny in terms of optimal pickup height so they take some tweaking.
I agree with the posts above that the JB is really a great fallback.
If you just listen to your other clips you can clearly hear a signature sound that is coming from your hands and guitar.
Have you plugged the Shiva into the Bogner OS? I'm pretty sure it would be nut busting awesome
