very well said, man. you nailed it. That piercing treble leaves a lot to be desired. As a matter of fact, that's one of the very few complains I have about Friday's show. That and just the sheer volume, it's beyond loud (and i grew up going to metal concerts at least once a month)
Yngwie is 50 this year. Can't believe he's still out there rockin' as hard as I saw him back in 88. I saw him many times since then, the guy never failed to delivered live. Whether you like his style or hate it, one thing is certain, he's a great performer. All the Youtube and videos just don't...
I can vouch for Trace like the other guys here.
Great guy, did a Jose mod on my EG5, best module I have on my Randall RM100. I did have him on the phone once and he was very courteous and helpful.
It's my favorite Flying V, it's radical but a lot of thoughts have gone into the design. Maybe that's why it never caught on, it's not a mainstream piece.
If you like the look how it plays, you can't go wrong with this one. I was skeptical about it at first but after owning it for awhile, it...
I have the ESP Super V, the LTD version. First of all, I really love the look of it. The cherry red finish has this cool gothic look to it, you can see through the wood grain, classy. the sharp V shape is rounded off by the overall shape of the body, so it looks more ergonomic than those super...
I see them available now on various online stores. Are they available now or just preordered?
Anyone checking them out yet? I'm looking forward to test drive one!
She's a diva, she's hot and she has a great rack. Oh, and her vocal chops are inhuman
Mariah Carey doing Def Leppard, which made me wish "what if" she does metal, just check out the vocal pyrotechnique at 4:06:

Ahh, scalloped necks. I have a long history of playing them and having them done on my guitars. I actually learned how to do it myself back around 1991.
Used to have these guitars that were all scalloped: Fender YJM Strat, Ibanez Jem, ESP Kamikaze, Ibanez RGs and couple custom made ones.
Pros-...
in my 73 Strat, I have a JBJ in the neck, great pickup. The J at the end stands for Juarez, who is Maricella Juarez who was Duncan's top gun. If you can find these used on EBay, it's the top of the crop of the JBs.
In the bridge I have a late 80s Dimarzio PAF Pro, it stills hold up today...
+1. My les paul is in real need of a refret, it'll be stainless for sure when I get it done. I think I'm even going to put them on my scalloped fingerboard
I got a chance to test some cool new gear at my local superstore. Discovered some cool things and reaffirm some I already know.
The amp I used to test this guitar was a Suhr Badger 5-watt head, into a Suhr cab 1X12. these amps are great direct, but very transparent so you can really hear the...
WTF it does sound like New Kids  . Little behind the times on this one? The rap/rock thing is so yesterday, bands like Rage Against The Machine was great, but with a few exceptions, I hope this shit will never come back.
FYI I got a word from an insider that the guts of a G-Major is exactly the same as the G-system, only difference is the G-System obviously has more stuff in it, but they are apparently the same electronics.
