My Fargen has a simple passive loop and I had high end loss and volume loss with certain pedal effects. Currently using digitech hardwire pedals in the loop and they work pretty good. I get a little bit of loss but not major. I think this loop runs at a higher signal level than most foot...
Awesome. I have this problem, I think, with one of my cabs. This high metallic sounding ringing noise always around the e. Few questions. Did you tighten two screws opposite each other or two beside each other? My cab is front loaded. Yours?
Yeah, I've got to agree. I've backed off of my grunge hatred since I've come to see that this is what really happened. It was time for 80's rock to go. It actually ran about 3 years or so into the 90's as it got progressively worse before it abruptly died. I just wish we, as in musicians my...
Just covered that for a friends sons wedding party. Bride was named Sarah. Cool tune.
Here's one that came to mind. One of many in my cheese factory.

I've been learning some Van Halen tunes. Always liked em' but never really spent any time learning them beyond Panama and a few others. What I've discovered is the OP is a hell of a player. That makes a big difference in the tone as well.
I've got one in my closet. I'm gonna get it back out and get a cheap power amp eventually. It's still kicks some real serious ass. the mp1 un-modded is still king in my book.
It's always funny to me when somebody says this or that was recorded using a _____ . Usually neither the band nor...
So I tried those settings and it's pretty spot on for the tone you were getting. Thanks for that. I don't have an attenuator or unleash so I was just running it full out and after about 20 min my ears were ringing like hell with all that treble going. I lowered the master to 7 on the dial and...
Sounds great. Mine never sounds that good but is probably due to the operator.  So eq maxed except bass all the way off huh. I'll have to try it. 70's mode I assume? So you aren't using the power scaling at all just master wide open and using your unleash to set the volume...
there is some tone suck but I didn't think it was bad.
I use it in front of amp only for effects and I have a racked unit for time based effects in the loop. The POD midi switches my rack unit and I use a few stomp models in front of the amp for boosts and color.
If you get one, try the blue...
Boosting aside, have you had a conversation with your band mates about dynamics. I mean sit down, guitars off we need to serve the song not our egos kind of conversation. If they are not capable of having this kind of discussion you are probably in for a lot of frustration. The main thing is...
Bullshit! I don't make nearly that much. ;) I'm guitarspaz over there. The reason I went with threadkiller here is because every time i posted on a thread there it was like somebody walked up to a conversation at a party and farted. Thus, threadkiller.
It's a pretty good site for gathering...
My bonus room is great for practicing but you can clearly hear me outside. A whole band would be easily heard next door. Doubt it would be loud but they would hear it. I'd build.
I thought tattoo was a little lame but liked She's the Woman a lot, except that the original recording from the demo sounds way better to me. The production for that song on A Different Kind of Truth was too thick and bass heavy and the guitar sounds like mush. I find this with recordings in...
