It's both, they even say this. 99% its used
What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty and has been...
I have this amp as well. Killer amp. It's voiced like the original 100 series which ironically is where the amp became famous. In 2004 they added more gain to the Red Channel, and then the other variants (classic Anniversary)
Yes, they did. To say "made in America" the majority of the parts must come and be made in the US. We know the tuners (Japan) and bridge (Korea). Are not US. So, the FTC would let you say, "Made in America" or "Made in USA"
The mass production of these guitars and that every music outlet has...
Exactly, and those bodies are probably 3 -4-piece bodies to save money, that's why they are all solid colors. And still not offering SS frets like everyone else.
These guitars are really not much different than the Mexican made DK24 Charvels that sell for around 1000.00. It wouldn't Suprise me at all if the necks and body blanks were made in Mexico and shipped up here to the US for final paint and assembly.
And another rant, Jackson just came out with...
10000000% correct. The XTC is the same as a marshal tone stack, with an Audio (log) taper treble pot. Put a linear taper pot like Marshal, and the XTC is a very bright amp.
Bogner used the Audio (log)m taper pot because most guitarist set the amp controls with their eyes. The standard linear...
My speculation: Electro Harmonix makes products in China. So possibly Mathews arranged one of the Chinese companies to take delivery of the tubes and then ship them here to the states, bypassing the embargo. This will cost a bit of money, thus the price hikes he stated.
Yet EVH never used EL34 based Marshalls, they were all equipped with Sylvania 6CA7's which were beam tetrodes and were basically a supercharged 6L6. And all his signature amps were and are 6L6.
6CA7's and EL34 are confused quite a bit because they use the same bias range and have similar plate...

The HX effects will switch latching switching amps just fine, but one big issue, is Line 6 does not isolate the ground on the switching system and this will induce a ground loop. Most went to the Amp Gizmo or something of the like to switch channels.
FedEx offers a very low shipping option where they use the USPS to deliver the package. They ship the package to the city Post Office and the Post Office delivers it to you. A friend of mine who works at the post office told me these packages are treated as "low priority by the post office"...
Yep sucks. He was diagnosed 10 years ago according to the article I read and it now has gotten to the point where he can no onger perform many of the songs.
I have the FAT 55 in my Eclipse. Yes they are plug and play with regular EMG pickups.
They sound more like passives with the note articulation and warmth and are very sensitive tone wise to pickup height, but they still have that EMG top end sterile tone. However, I will say they are the best...
