I appreciate his skill and creativity but I find the band kind of at a point in music I don’t find very interesting as it’s a combo of mathy/tappy stuff that seems to be running its course and the video/IG like video aesthetic of the time and it is boring.

Not sure what it costs to get the Headfirst Cali there. I have a Ceriatone King Kong 100 I built and it can get pretty heavy but also has a plexi type channel 1 which is my clean/little dirty channel. The amp handles my baritone guitar (tuned to Drop A) pretty well.

Three years later but I had a question. I saw the quote from Friendman about the mods. Ceriatone recently added a layout for an Adam Jones SL on their website. All the mods as mentioned by Friedman are there (though I didn't hear anything about the PPIMV) but there is a 4700pf bright cap added...

I have a two channel Ceriatone King Kong I built. Great amp and I’ve been modding it a bunch. I have the chance to get the Laney at a pretty good price. I can get by with the Ceriatone; it’s my only 100w head currently but I’ve always been curious about the Laney and had heard Opeth used them...

Damn, that sounds awesome. I regret selling my Sig: X. I wished it had 4 KT88s. It covered so much ground as am amp.
