I'm not even aware of 10 guitar players I care enough about to make a list that long. :D
The best guitar player I'm aware of, for my money is Greg Koch. Though I haven't listened to much of his records, etc as his primary style isn't really my taste.
But if I were to go by my favourite/biggest...
Dang! Those first two Rough Cutt albums really hold up to my ears compared to their contemporaries, both the songs and production.
I got the impression that they were big into boosting Marshalls with Furmans along with modded Marshalls
Well, the styles and sounds of ACDC to Queensryche are pretty far apart. If you had left out Queensryche, I'd say get a UK67 or 68. Queenryche to me is more clean tones (as in cleans feature a lot in their sound, and you would want a clean channel), and an XS III would be better suited.

Living in Canada, and knowing they are going to be doing a show nearby in about 6 weeks, I’m tempted to shoot a message to Enuff Z’Nuff’s management and being like “yo, if you’re in a pinch if your guitar player can’t cross the border, hit me up”
Also being a Morris owner, I know exactly what you mean.
They really make pretty much everything I’ve used before from the bottom to the previous top sit in “second tier” category. From Peavey to Soldano, they aren’t at this level, imho.
Please refer to Graham Bonnet thread.
I’ve also somewhere got pictures of me wearing tan chinos and a Hawaiian shirt on stage rocking my RG550. I don’t remember what amp I was using at the time?
I never love (boost) pedals. I kind of go through phases where I will have one just for solos, and times when I run straight into the front of the amp.
However, because now I'm not a "poor youth" as I once was, I will keep a TS-9 and SD-1 around, along with my old GE-7. If I can't get a boost...
Fight! Fight! Fight!
Like anything, you can quickly get into diminishing returns. I like the tone:$ ratio of Duncans. I get a sound I like and am not breaking the bank. Even just living with their "basic" stuff like the JB, Custom, DD, 59. I know I'm going to be getting a good, familiar base...
