New design I have been working on for a while...it's in a JCA22H but could also go in a Marshall or several others. Hope you enjoy them. The second clip has some of a sm57 in the room to it.

Well I obviously never use them stock :D so I can fix some of those things, but yeah if you're playing in some lower tunings you need the power to push them. For hard rock or older metal though there is no problem.
If you need a ton of clean headroom then that should be taken into consideration but volume wise for most gigs I rarely get to crank up even a 20, especially an indoor gig when using a 4x12. Unless you're playing an arena with a bad PA, even a 50 watt amp is only ~3db louder than a 20 watt amp...
There are a few proven designs floating around and I have built a few of them, but I just use an attenuator that has a load option. It sits on my bench and I use it all the time, plus is keeps my coffee warm while burning in amps
Nice job on the clip. This turned out to be a really great sounding mod, so much so that I'm going to tweak it some more and put it in an el34 based amp. Robbie was great to deal with too...have fun with the amp.

Gary is good people. I have been to his shop and he has some amazing stuff there. He has done some work for me and my next custom build will be done by him. Congrats on your build...I'm sure it will be stunning.

Thanks for all the compliments...I enjoy doing these every once in a while. And ronjhoser don't worry...This is my only non-pointy headstock Charvel  I just wanted a maple necked one and also thought the rosewood would make the guitar too dark looking.
I have an addiction to older MIJ Charvels and own more than I should, but this is a build I just finished. It was an early Model 2 that was a bit tired with the old Kahler that was missing parts. I sanded and repaired the body dings and then plugged the Kahler bridge posts. I then laid out...
I haven't posted any clips in quite a while. Greg came by the other day and we were jamming and decided to make a clip, so here is the Dual Rectifier I redid that is in the classifieds.

I've done plenty of deals with Nick as well and he's always been top notch with his gear and packing. I hope this gets worked out as Steve said with PP.

Hope things are good with you as well.
