EDIT: Found it in the manual. Thanks man. :)
Any pictures of BS/JC rigs would be great too.
Thanks man. That's very helpful. :) Does the voice change add to the gain/volume enough for leads? I guess I've got a SD-1 and a GE-7 for solos but still, very cool. My friend built a latching...
Hey,
I'm picking up a new amp tomorow, it's between a Blackstar Ht-100 and a Jet City JCA100h.
But I'm clearing up questsions that I can't find much info on elsewhere.
There's an additional jack for an extra footswitch on the HT-100, that apparently gives a mid boost and apparently gives a...
I do love my 5150. It sounds absolutely awesome, no doubt about it. But I'm in a modern prog rock band and I play in jazz outfits every now and again, the 5150 just isn't really suited to my playing.
That's quite helpful, the 5153 is one of my all time favourite amps, it's much nicer than the 5150 II IMO.
How does the JCA 100 fare with Marshall cabs (t75)? That's what I've got at the moment but I'm hoping to upgrade to something with Eminence Cannabis Rex (patriot) speakers in it. It...
For leads, I prefer having quite a short delay, similar to a reverb in a way, gives you a really fat, smooth, liquid sound that lots of guitarists love for soloing.
Makes you sound better than you are, you'll love it.
Some guitarists like Vai and Satch (I think) and also Andy...
Hehe. That's awesome.
I also noticed you have "Talking about music is like dancing about architecture", strangely, that's my facebook status for today.  Great quote.
The SE's are really good guitars, great value for money. It would need a pickup change though as the stock pickups in the SEs are a bit weak, to my ears anyway, lots of people have said the same though so bare it in mind.
EMGs work great with baritones, and the Agile is great (all agiles are...
What's the other clean setting like? I remember hearing the two modes described as brittish and american, I think I prefer American style cleans, overdrive as well actually.
Thanks man, yeah. I think how well an amp takes pedals in the loop and up front make a big difference to me, a versetile amp is worthless if it can't take pedals well. IMO. Unelss it can recreate pedal sounds within the amp of course.
I'm judging the thickness of the Blackstar based on clips...
