You're probably hearing your output transformer. My plexi clone does it. When it's outside the cabinet (I thinker with it) it's obnoxiously loud. I've not heard my little Jet City though, but I'm sure it's still making some noise. I had a few other amps that I would mic up the cab in another...

Not much noise about them. The one vid and not particularly enlightening page on the website. It says switching is now easier than ever, but I'm not sure I see how. The video would suggest a tap turns it on, and a hold flops between channels. So what if you want off to clean boost in one...

I've found the power amp controls don't quite react the way I expect them to. Almost the opposite of the way I expect them to, yet different.

You can drag and drop your IRs into the boxes in the interface. You have to import a wav of your uncabsimmed guitar amp (or can use one of the ones that comes with blendIR) into the "source" at the top left. I think this to is a drag and drop feature, if not try right clicking in there. Then...

I had assumed he was wanting to use it for wet/dry purposes, but I don't see that he said that. I don't know what he wants to use it for. :lol: :LOL: I suppose a big part of what he's needing depends on if he needs a compensated line out or not.

If he's wanting to run a signal FOH, then no, an uncompensated line out wouldn't work. I didn't realize he was wanting to go FOH with it.

The Reload is a reamping attenuator to be used with your cabinet, although it doesn't have to be.

I can't say as I haven't owned either, but my guess is the Reload will perform better as full load (which is the way it's built) so it might get a better signal for silent recording. The Aracom might perform better under milder loads.
