Anyone put it on a scale? My guess is that it weighs around 1000 pounds.

Mahogany Body/Neck? I would try EMGs. I have EMGs in my PRS Mike Mushok SE and the thing sounds monstrous. It adds the high mids and cuts a little of the flub inherent to all mahogany guitars (if it is indeed all Mahogany/entirely a dark wood.

I really like the ProCo Power Plus 12-2. I like it a lot better than Monster, and preferred it to Mogami.

My favorite cabs for just about anything are Mesa 2x12 or 4x12 Rectifier Cabinets and a Splawn Cabinet with Celestion EVH speakers.

Greenday is legendary. What bands can really hold on to that same lineup from day one and write killer music the whole journey? I call teh suck on the venue management.

I think thhat DSL fucking rips... holy shit. The same things I didn't like about my stock EVH are what I hear here: cloudiness, nasal edge, and stuffiness. Me want DSL :yes:

I think he's a rocking player, but the dude is a bit over the top when it comes to the vibrato bar. If you're reaching for the bar every two seconds, it just sounds like you're playing to yourself rather than playing to the song.

EMGS are really stellar in Mahogany Body/Mahogany Neck guitars, because they subdue a hair of the low mid whomp and add some sparkle which is perfect for a Les Paul. I say go for it!
