I listened to some of the clips. Not bad. At least it sounds like Lynch Mob. But those old Lynch Mob records were produced by Keith Olsen who's a producing god (45 gold or platinum record awards, and six Grammy's). I'm sure he had at least a small hand in tightening up those records into...
Cool that you dig 'em. I REALLY didn't like them. To me they sounded really mid rangy, with no bass. Like they would ballance out if you played through a blackface Bassman, or some other dark bassy amp.
Before that I had tried 3 Suhr V60LP's, which sound great, but we're so big sounding...
Surprising. I saw him a couple years ago, and he was singing better than ever. ...and he's an old school rock guy. I can't imagine him just bailing on a show unless he was really screwed.
I haven't heard of Freddie Nelson before, but he's a great colaborator for Paul. Their new record, United States, is really good. Great PG playing, but good singing and good songs!

III Sides = Gallien-Krueger 250 ML Mark II for solos...
Nah...I totally appreciate you jogging my memory. I don't want to give out wrong info.
Yeah, it was a massive 4-5 month education on many levels.
Hmmm. Dude, you're totally right. :aww: It wasn't the wah. It was the A/B box to switch over to the JC-120's for the clean sound on a couple songs. Sorry, I take it back.
Anyway... it was for the John Sykes Bad Boy Live! record.
It was one of these bad-boys (no pun intended). They are old, and go for about $3k, which is bonkers to put in a guitar rig (which is probably why you haven't heard of it before. They sound great though. It was on his guitars, lead vocal, and probably some of the keyboards for the mix...
I think it's that synergy when I guy finds the perfect guitar for his 'guitar voice'. Sorry, I can't remember what tubes he was using. It was a while back, when I wasn't as detailed about amps. No effects at all while playing live. The sound guy would bring in a little delay for big solo...
