    THD Flexi

I've been hooked ever since that clip of Chris Poland playing through a Flexi found it's way to Youtube. I just need a THD 2x12. Waiting for that and an affordable Anderson Hollow Drop Top to show up is vexing me.

    THD Flexi

Hey Ed, great tone. Thanks again for re-biasing my Flexi. I was the guy with the Floral Jem.

    THD Flexi

I fooled around with a Univalve and the Bivalve a bit when I worked for Guitarville. I tried the Univalve more. It was cool, but I didn't really put it through it's paces. It was cool enough to get me to buy an Ultimate Octave, however. I would love to try a THD 4x12 as well. The price that guy...

    THD Flexi

I'm patient enough to wait for a deal like that around here. It's rare, but I'm optimistic. Some guy was selling a Bivalve for 550$ a few weeks back. Insane price.

    THD Flexi

I have seen a few 2x12s on Craigslist, but never when I have the money. There was one in Sacramento for 300, but I didn't feel like asking about shipping.

    THD Flexi

Sorry to bump an old topic, but I love my Flexi. I really want a THD 2x12, but can't find one.

    Help With Right Hand Technique

For the Eric Johnson style licks you should know that he doesn't always alternate pick. He frequently uses rest strokes or combines that with slurs. Just keep practicing slower than your ceiling tempo. Speed is the byproduct of quality practice. Don't force it too much.

looking for some "must learn" jazz/fusion solos

Oz Noy-Epistrofunk Scott Henderson-Snake Soda, Everglades, Giant Steps Larry Carlton-Kid Charlemagne Chris Poland-Peanut Buddha Anything by Carl Verheyen, Herring, Holdsworth, Mclaughlin, Brett Garsed, Steve Morse would probably keep you busy.

Why Won't My Floyd Stay in Tune.

Is it one string, or every string? I once had a Jackson that would never come back to it's zero point. I used to have problems with my Jem, but only on the G string. If it's just one string, then you can probably rule out a lot of things. The most common culprit is strings not being stretched...

Midi help-Eventide Timefactor and JMP-1 to GCX

I think I figured it out. The JMP was the problem. I had to set the channel to 1 on the JMP, the guy who helped me set my rack up initially had it set to OMNI, so it was responding to my attemps at controlling the Eventide only. Thanks for the help!

    I'll try reversing it.

Midi help-Eventide Timefactor and JMP-1 to GCX

Yep, Marshall is MIDI channel 1, Eventide is 2. They are still affecting each other whenever I try to adjust one. I suspect it may have to be something adjusted on the Eventide's end (it has a MIDI menu which I tinkered with after 2 frustrating hours. That led to another frustrating hour of...

    Scott Henderson

One of the best. There used to be a pretty cool Youtube clip of him soloing over Giant Steps during a Namm show.

    Blues Saraceno appreciation!

I just watched the "White room" clip posted earlier. I think it's pretty funny that he is wearing a Pantera shirt at a Cream reunion. Awesome. Thanks for posting it.

    Blues Saraceno appreciation!

One of my favorites. His REH instructional tape was a little bit of a let down, but it had a great rendition of "Rabbit Soup". I actually prefer that version to the original. He uses the word "Ultimately" about 657 times on the REH tape. :D :)

Midi help-Eventide Timefactor and JMP-1 to GCX

I have been struggling to get my new rig to do what I want. I am running a Marshall JMP-1 preamp, a bunch of pedals, and an Eventide Timefactor into a GCX Audio Switcher, and that is all being controlled by a Ground Control Pro. Everything was functioning exactly as I wanted, but once I tried to...
