Oh man don't mention the Schmidt - a while ago I got to spend some quality time with that amp and it was amazing - sort of spine tingling.
I can only have one amp... and it looks like the Herbert is the one. May be in the future if I earn enough ££$$ I'll get a Schmidt to go alongside the Herbert.
Here are a few examples of the tones I'm trying to get close to - not replicate but get close:

Okay the fact is I've been playing around for some time with modeller i.e. the Axe Fx now this isn't a criticism of the kit but more of me. I just spent far too much time messing around with the whole thing wether it be amp/cab sims and just not enjoying the tones I got either at home or via...
Not wishing to dwell on what has been a bad few weeks, but to cut a long story short my Einstein combo was damaged when left at a pals house and a water mains burst.
I've had the insurance assessor deem my amp is beyond repair and I should within the next few weeks get a check to the value of...
I have this dilemma.... for quite some time I've lusted after a Modena M60 and I've just about saved enough cash to buy one new. However, I have just come across a great example of a used Masotti X3M preamp which again is something I've looked at in the past, but have never pulled the trigger...
Actually, Bruce has said directly that they are now, and plan to continue producing modules for forever. Just FWIW.
That is exactly what I need to hear! I 'want' one of these preamps real bad!
I have 2 Vintage Plus - the relic ones. I just love the neck on it and they have replaced my USA Standard Strat. I have one with BKP Sinner and Trilogy Suite pickups and the other with Mother's Milk.
PS: Yours looks amazing!
Anyone on here use the BKP Sinner (bridge) - I'm thinking of putting one in ESP Vintage to go with the Trilogy Suite mid and neck I already have.
Any thoughts/comments on the Sinner, especially how quiet it is as I guess its not exactly noise canceling and can it cmpete with say a Dimarzio Fast...
