Hi, A fellow Diezel owner alerted me to the nightmare he had when dealing with a venues mains power and it has got me thinking I need to invest in a power conditioner and anti-surge unit. So any recommendations? Oh and it must be okay to work with UK mains.

Hi, Just a very quick question... I'm in need of a good noise gate. I've been considering getting the TC Electronic G-Force for all my Fxs and noticed it has noise gate as well. However, I've been advised that the TC Nova Dynamics pedal has a much better Gate than the G-Force. Any views on this?

Okay guys, I need to confess that over the years I have become a real fan of Diezel now owning a Einstein combo and Schmidt with a 212 rear loaded cab AND no other amps. I've just been fortunate to land a bit of extra cash that could buy me a Herbert and 212 front loaded cab and one or two...

I'm hopefully a few weeks away from getting my Schmidt and 212R cab. When I was looking for a new amp I researched many forums including TGP. I tried many... man I tried so many amps. Some costed less than the Schmidt and some more, some were point to point and others PCBs. I kept going back...

I got my last set at Maplins.

I sort knew this would be the ideal :lol: :LOL: but budget currently dictates only one. If the rear loaded is more three dimensional and complex in tone, it sounds as though it will be better suited to my needs.

That video was very very helpful. So for the "sludgy bluesy" stuff - the rear loaded cab is the one :D

Hi, In real simple terms what are the differences and benefits between a rear loaded cab and a front loaded one? I've sort of searched on here for an "idiots" guide but not found anything definitive. Can anyone help?
