I have a 1x12 Engl cab with a V30 and use it with the Einstein - a great combination, if you ask me.

Decision made! I bought an ENGL 1x12 cab yesterday - v/happy with the low volume stuff now.

Email Tim at Bareknuckle pickups and ask him direct, he always replies and his advice is 'sound'. BKPs have the same great customer that Diezel has.

I'll be away for 6 - 8 months and space is an issue, but i should be okay with a 1x12 cab - hell if I'm that tight for space I'll put the bed against the wall and sleep in a sleeping bag :lol: :LOL: Just out of interest, what sort software apps are you thinking about?

I have a Engl 2X12 and an Engl 1X12. At home the 1X12 is amazing, i use this with the Herbert. At low volume the sound is so much fuller, you just need less to get there. Keep in mind that you will have to adjust the eq. I just got your reply as I was looking online at the ENGL1x12 cab! I...

Hmmm... I see your logic about getting a 1x12, may be this option sounding more attractive. I could also keep the 1x12 and use late nights at home. AND use it with my Schmidt, when I get it ;)

I used to have the OKKO Dominator and sold it when I went with Diezel... some irony there. Thanks for the suggestion, but I all I want is a small low powered amp that I can stick in a corner, plug in and get away with playing at low volumes without upsetting those around me.

Yeah I get what you are saying, but this place is like a one bed place with a ting kitchen diner. So small and portable is what I need.

Hi, I'm planning a bit of a project with a MIA Telecaster, along the lines of a Jim Root i.e. EMG 81 bridge /60 neck combo, but I thought I'd like to try a set of Bare Knuckle pups, rather than go active. So any idea which of the BKPs are similar to the 81 and 60? Thanks!
