Any major sonic difference between the tube types or is it voiced to the tube type? I see a lot of the el34s used but maybe its just the most common one made?
Just as the thread asks, I see a Mesa mk7, JP2c, EL34 5150 100 watt, and an Uber Ultra up right now. Ive actually never tried any of them! Which would you go for if you had the funds.
I think Danny will be playing well for a long time. It's not like he's playing blast beats for 90 minutes. you can groove and play complicated drum parts for a long time. Look at Vinnie Colaiuta.

Anyone ever try the fl 212 Diezel cab with G12's? I'm afraid it might be too middy and tight.

For those with experience, what's the difference between the Hagen and VH4? I really dig my Hagen but you rarely hear about it even though its supposed to be a modern VH4.
